Trigger Claw Polishing

My Micro has trashed the serving on my factory string in short order. Haven't counted shots but I suspect it to be around a couple hundred. So I will polish the claws before I go to a new string. Lee Valley only has the 15 and 5 micron micro abrasive paper in stock, locally and on-line. In fact I've bought and used the 15 and 5 micron already. I would like to finish it off withe the .5. Is there another source for this stuff? I'll buy a sheet or remnant of a sheet off anyone who has surplus on hand.

Contact Boo (Don) or go to his website, I know he used to sell pre-cut strips of sand paper for exactly the job your Doing. They were 15, 5 and .5 micron.

So you're telling me, one can expect more than a few hundred shots per serving?
Honestly, I was under the impression that a few hundred shots per serving is pretty good. That's pretty much what I get on my Phoenix and my Micro.

Absolutely ! You should get ALOT more shots !
