First I will remove the stock trigger and give it a good polishing with diamond paste. Sometime.
TT for ADF???.... These are two different accessories.
TT won't prevent a dri-fire.

My trigger moves about 3/16 inch, then I can feel it kinda stop before it breaks.
I take it this isn't normal? lol
B.R. that sounds about right for a stock trigger. It's all about perception and expectations. All the stock excal setups are good to go as is. Are there better options available for triggers, strings, optics, arrows.....ABSOLUTELY! But the entire setup is hunter ready out of the box with just a sight in required. Some of us are a little excessive but that's part of the fun.

when I first shot my M310 and started squeezing the trigger I was thinking to myself - is this thing ever gonna fire? lol
Now that I am used to it it is actually pretty nice... I get to the wall and then I know when its going to break

I am pretty happy with the stock trigger. The first time I shot my new 405 (last weekend) caught me by surprise. It went off before I knew it. But after 75 shots since then I can predict when it will break.
So if the TT are better then go for it. I just cant justify the cost on a brand new bow.

That is the best thing about Excalibur Bows. They are more then capable right out of the box with stock equipment. This is actually a good thing as it keeps costs down for those which can't afford a lot of money (which is most of us). but for those that want to "pimp" out their crossbows, they can still do that.
My mistake was to try out a TT trigger at BooFest, now I know and understand the difference between the two. My suggestion is to try one if you can, that is unless you will be afraid that you will need one after.

Well I owned a Exomax for several years and I really liked the factory trigger on it. However when I sold that bow and bought the 380 Matrix to me the trigger was just not as good a the previous Exomax trigger and I suspect that the heavier draw weight of the 380 had something to do with that..So I purchased the Trigger Tech trigger for the 380 and could not be more satisfied.
Got a post card in my mail box . there is a package from so and so . will pick it up tomorrow when I go to town . Took my bow apart so I can install my NEW single stage TT . Boy was I surprised the dirt and rust on all the hidden screws also some where lose . I guess I will be paying attention to them in the future.

I have TT DS #2.5 on both my M380 & 405. The 380 is an early model and the 405 is 9 months out of the factory. The 380 trigger was fair but the 405's trigger was quite good! I'm trying to get every bit of accuracy/range out of both xbows. The TT triggers are a major help in this.
After buying my Lynx I got a TT 2.5 single stage for it, wow what a difference, like a fine sporting arms trigger should be. But I have no idea how good the trigger was in my Mad Max,,,,,,,ordered the TT 2.5 SS at the same time, this way I could do my usual tear down as I always do with a new bow, remove all fasteners treat them with TSI-301 so I never have to worry about rust!!! and make certain every fastener is installed with blue loctite and TIGHTENED, with the tt in hand I installed it then instead of having to break it down later, I wasn't positive the factory trigger wouldn't be good, but I was positive the TT 2.5 SS would be!!! Besides the great trigger pull, I think the claws are better polished right out of the box than the factory claws also, making sterving life much better,,,, I won't even think about the TT when I score my Micro, they will be ordered together all at the same time!!

The TSI-301 treatment is a great investment in time if you want all your fasteners to stay rust free!!

It may after it's been applied for a couple days, but after that no odor and it is embedded in the pores of the steel, works for me anyways,,,,,
