Anybody still using the fixed blade heads and if so what are your thoughts?

I use to use the Wasp Jac-Hammer Expandables and had pretty good luck with them. Kinda torn between going back with Jac-Hammers or a fixed Wasp or possibly a Slick Trick Broadhead.

Chris,
Myself so far I've had good service from Grim Reaper Xbow heads.
I'd rather be shooting my Excalibur.

I have decided to stick with the Expandable Type Broadheads. The last season that I got to hunt I used the Wasp brand and had great performance with the Jac-Hammer SST harvesting and recovering several deer in these flooded Alabama swamps.I'm going to order some Wasp and Grim Reapers and go from there :D

I came across a thread with pics from my last Bow Hunt, I forgot how well the Wasp Jac- Hammer SST performed. Check out the review I previously posted

I shot 125 gr. Wasp SST Hammer broadheads for many years. They fly great and penetrate very well. I got pass thru s using a 52 lb. High Country bow. All but one of the more than a dz. kills dropped within sight. Last year, I used Slick Tricks. They seem to fly better with my crossbow. However, I believe the Wasps penetrate better, especially with low pound bows like the High Country compound I used.
By the way, it was a High Country Excalibur!

I'm not yet 100 % trusting of mechanicals so only shoot fixed blades.I have some WASP Drones. These are solidly built and reasonably priced broadheads and I find they fly as well as my other fave Slick Trick mags.I have yet to try them on live game but I'm confident they will get the job done.

Given how long they have been on the market, they must be doing something right or they would have been scrapped due to lack of sales a long time ago.
