It's a 13' - 90+ lb. red tailed boa. Not mine, but I was helping a friend by holding the little fellow while he cleaned the cage. He had been fed a few hours before, so was pretty docile. It's a long story, but at the time the pic was taken I was doing a plumbing job on some new cabins in the woods, and had to remove a 6' blacksnake from the crawlspace almost every morning. I had one of the carpenters take a pic of me with the black snake and showed it to my wife. She said he would sure keep the mice and chipmunks out of the cabins!
I had a chance to get the pic with the boa, came home that evening and told her the black snake was gone today, but a bigger snake had taken his place and I really had a struggle getting him out of the crawlspace. I then downloaded the pic on my computer as she looked over my shoulder. Her chin hit her knees and she exclaimed, "you aint going back to that job!" When I told her the truth she exclaimed, "you (edited - this is a family forum)"

I think I finally got it right ...had a hard time getting it small for some reason...musta been that big head

look at the head on that one as my Dad would say
