matrix 330 arrow length

Post by longbow joe »

I just got my matrix 330 new nikon bolt . Didnt have bolts for it so i was shootin my micro 2219s at 16.5 inches 175 head to match my slick tricks . This things driving tacks with these arrows is any one else shootin this shorter arrow in their matrixs . I assume the heavy head is helping me a little but having one arrow size for both bows wouldnt be bad .lol

I'm using: 170gr field tips, 20gr aluminum insert, 17" zombies, 2"'Blazers with extreme helical, and lumenocks. Total arrow weight is 395gr and this setup is very accurate out to 60y, but I haven't tested it further.

I was wondering if the Matrix 330 has enough KE to push the NAP FOC through say a Deer or good size Black Bear???

Let me know how it worked for you last season...

Yup, I shoot 20" BEE's with 110 inserts and 100 grain heads. Total weight is 440. Setup shoots amazingly tight out to 50 yards. I tried goldtips for a while but found them to be a tad inconsistent.

17" Zombie Slayers from my 355, and 330, perfect length in my opinion.

X-2 on 17".
I shoot original spynal taps in 17" out of my M-330. They are inside the stirrup with broadheads installed and shoot great.
