Congratulations BSTOUT! I have another six days before I hope to have the same opportunity. I like to get the meat, then look for the trophy. However, if the Trophy shows up first.........

congrats on the doe...you have a head start on us Canucks!

BTW - I think it ain't a bad law if they are trying to get the herd thinned down a bit...we need a good doe harvest when the numbers are high and sometimes they need to force the issue.

A lot of our additional tags are anterless only this year but were "anything goes" in previous years.

Congrats, bstout on your deer. Was it a big doe, or yearling? How ' bout them bucks, see any big ones last night? I'm heading out to my property on Tuesday night, do a little scouting, put up another stand, and generally just chill out. Hunting in a week or so.

Way to go! Look on the bright side at least by having to shoot a doe first you will have some good freach meat to eat while you hold out for the big guy!

Congratulations!!

Yes, the "earn a buck" is silly. We ended up with a one buck limit a couple of years ago and now it is one and out. Kill a buck with a bow and sit out gun season. Bummer...

All this to appease some folks who couldn't kill a buck in a zoo..

Congrats, you're one ahead of us Ontario folks. We still have a six day wait before we can skewer any hollow hairs.
