Magnus Broadhead Turkey Success

Post by Big D »

April 25th was a one day mentor youth hunt here in Pennsylvania. I took my 7yr daughter for her first turkey hunt with my Excalibur 330, 100gr bullhead, 20 inch 2219 alum. with extra weight up front, bog pod tripod with psr, and other acc. all to are hunting blind. While practicing weeks before, cutting paper towel tubes in half I thought her chances were good. At 8:20 a.m. she shot a Jake at 25yds it dropped with his head completely decapitated. The shot was amazing I don't think I could of made it. The arrow also traveled another 20yds after removing the head showing the power of Excalibur x-bows.

I am trying to post a pic but it says file is too big, maximum allowed is 500 KiB. Any help appreciated

very cool! We've had a few of those Magnus 3 packs leave the shop recently, people are getting geared up and really like those. So glad your little one took advantage of the early season, and with such success!!! will she ever look at Thanksgiving dinner the same? haha.

THAT'S AWESOME!!! A big congratulations to you both. Great job there dad, you're obviously the man who would rather hunt with his family than for his family.
