New broad heads for 2015

Post by 884savage »

I love trying new broad heads. I don't care if they are mechanical or fixed blade. Anyone seeing or using anything new this season? Or what was your favorite from last year?

I'm giving Swhackers a try. The 2" 100 grain heads hit about 1" left of my field points at 40 yards. I ordered a pack of the new 3 blade ones yesterday.

142 grain 5 blade napp razorbacks (vintage).these broadheads spin freely on the arrow shaft so the heads not spinning when it hits and it slices right through.so far out of the 405 matrix its flying true at 60yrds on a diablo arrow.

I've been a Slick Trick fan for years but tried the Toxics a couple seasons ago and was blown away with the almost 5" of cutting surface coring power of these heads. Hitting inch and a half spots at 65yards (haven't had time to reach way out there yet) tthey leave devastating blood trails.
I recently picked up some 125gr QAD Exodus Broadheads. These are crazy tough little heads that penetrate like nothing I've seen. I blew through a 3D bear midsection at thirty yards like it was made of smoke. I've only heard good things about them and I'm dying to try them out but I'm still so torn just because the Toxics are such performers.

I'll be sporting some Spitfire XXX heads for the first couple candidates of the season. These are 2" cut heads.
