Tomorrow will be my 33rd wedding anniversary. I am truly blessed with a wonderful wife, two fantastic daughters, and a whole lot of family. My wife is the eldest of 11 kids, and my Mother In Law always takes my side when there is any disagreement. Although it has not always been easy, it has always been fun! I know how lucky I am, and maybe that is the fuel for staying on the straight, and narrow, but I honestly believe God had something to do with it!
I know there are many folks here that have treasured as many, or more great years, and some that may have had to take other paths to reach happiness, bliss, or whatever you want to call it. The rough patches seem so minute looking back, and the real trials somehow have lost their overwhelming size in the grand scheme of things. My dearest friend has buried two wives, and will remarry in August. He has raised his kids, and the children of his second wife. They were not his, but the commitment never changed. Without rambling any longer, I just want to thank God, family, and friends for being there for one another when the chips fell.
To think of the years in real time now is like a blink! Enjoy the now, tomorrow is a gift that has not been promised.
