All Matrix limbs are the same.. You can change any Matrix riser and limbs with any Matrix bow..Only the deflection numbers are different. Or at least that's what i've been told countless times..... And i agree that bow needs to go back to Cabela's it an'it right...

Thanks everyone!

Getting it swapped out.
It seems like a really awesome bow besides the bad-luck defect :)
Lots of people responding and helping on the forums here too. Very cool.

I'm primarily a duck/pheasant hunter. This will be my first year for both archery as well as deer. I really hope I can get my first white tail with the bow this season.

Don't take NO for an answer from them for a direct replacement. If they don't have stock, have them refund your money.
Miss-matched limbs, you could have a 330 limb on one side and a 380 on the other on the other.
Demand a different bow, one way or the other.
Good Luck
As stated, the limbs from the 310, 330, 380, and 405 are all the same limbs. The 355 is the same as well but is painted different

How can they be the same limbs when different draw weights and FPS rating are different. I would think they would be of different stiffness. What do the stamped numbers on the limbs represent ?

length of barrel (rail, flight deck...what ever its called) is what makes the difference.

You are going to be a deer hunting junky when you get this matter resolved, and get your first kill. Good luck, take a doe right out of the gate if possible to fuel your soul. Hope to read some good hunting stories soon.

Thanks. A doe would be fine. I just want a freezer full of venison for the winter. I could care less about a trophy buck.

Makes sense that with Excalibur's great <1% warranty claim rate that I'd beat the odds. They are the only type of odds I ever beat. This is why I don't go to the casino. :)

Think if I asked Excalibur support very nicely they'd give me one of those Excalibur Camo hats ?

the stamped numbers are the limb deflection..if you saw them then you took it apart
if you did then you could try swapping limbs around and see how the Till ends up...Im curious to know if its still out but reversed.
back to the limb deflection numbers..they test them at the factory and try to match them up ..what are you numbers?

I'm not sure. To be honest it's already back in the box and taped up ready to go back.
