Goal on Deer this yr

My new land owner wants 8-15 taken off her land. I think 6-12 off my place is needed to get them under control. This will be a very busy yr fer me on deer huntin n killin them

That'll fill a freezer for sure. I'm expecting to take the normal 6-10 off the property I hunt, but a dozen wouldn't hurt. I'll have my daughter hunting with me so we'll be splitting those numbers between us. Last season I got into making summer sausage and it turned out amazing. I'm sure I'll be making lots of summer sausage this season. Everything except the backstraps and a couple roasts ends up sausage.

My goal is enjoy the woods and get in and out safely!
If I get a deer I'm happy! My area looks very good this year with lots of big bucks!

I grew up hunting in IA just north of the boarder. But! Outa state licenses can be gotten, no? Would be a fun trip!

Yes out of state Lic. can be bought at Maulmart, 1 any deer permit n 1 antlerless permit runs $250, come on down. I have 3 stands n a ground blind
