405 Matrix

Post by trwilson »

Question for 405 Matrix owners...
Was considering changing out tigger from stock to a after market trigger.
My bow was part of the recall, and the tigger pull seem to have increased.
Should I made a switch or deal with a heavier trigger pull?

What you need to do is measure the trigger pull.

I love my 405 and it's trigger. I am sure it's not as good as N after market but it is sure good enough for me to not even think of changing it.

My trigger might not be customized but my FINGER SURE IS! If you know what I mean.

Best of luck

The triggers in the newer M405s are quite good, IMO. However, they still fall well short of the TT triggers. I understand that Boo can improve the factory trigger to where it is nearly or as good as a TT. I expect Danny and others have silimiar skills. I don't .

All good information. I think I'll measure my trigger pull to get a baseline. I'll continue to research after market triggers.
I agree that the 405M is one of the best built bows.

for whatever reason my 405 trigger is the green upgraded trigger. I have shot target triggers from competition airguns to timney triggers, etc. my M405 trigger has NO issues to me, for a hunting trigger its very very very good!
