Drill and tap your mainframe and get a Micro stock, and you'll have a skeletonized "Matrix". It would be a few inches shorter than the Matrix, but totally workable.

Whittle on your existing stock. Don't be SKEERED! I whittled on one for Colton. They are pretty easy to work with.

Re: skeltonized stock for matrix series
On the older Vixen stock that I did for Colton, I was hesitant to cut too much out in my skeletonizing. I didn't want the stock to become weak or twist. The stock with the cutout has about zero give to it. You could cut quite a bit more out without compromising the stock. Have fun. The stocks are pretty soft and have a low melting point. If you use a dremel tool with a sanding drum to smooth it up after you cut it out, you better run it slow and easy or you will have a molten glob on the drum. Only warning... If it is on one of the camo stocks, where you cut it out will be white. You will have to come up with some way to color it . Just a thoughtNormous wrote:X2, there is plenty of material that can be removed in confidence.flightattendant100 wrote:Whittle on your existing stock. Don't be SKEERED! I whittled on one for Colton.
