Getting Stoked!

Post by IronNoggin »

Even though my upcoming Mule Deer hunt over in Alberta is a ways off, I've been thinking on it lots of late. Big John graciously fired of a dozen of his Fine Works of Art just for that show this past week, and I am keen to get to flying them!

Couple days back, my Partner went in for a scout of our area. He found over 60 bucks in there in a single day, ranging from spikers right up through real Big Boy status. Of course he forgot his camera, but did have his phone so the pictures he sent ain't the best... But...

This fellow doesn't know it yet, but he has been nominated Target Number One!
He is a True Giant, old, wise and approaching 400 pounds on the hoof.
Going to be a REAL Test working him, and I can hardly wait!! :D

The zone right next door just happens to be where we'll be hunting elk this season too. Sorry for the crappy photo, but methinks you can make out just what got my Buddy so damn Pumped!

Stoked? Oh Yeah Baby!!!

I'm so happy for you for getting your xbow permit AND getting drawn in the coveted zone. I can't wait to hear (then read) all about it! ....shoot me a call if any news on the recon mission

Those are some stud Mulies and the elk aren't shabby either! With your hunting partner able to get that close to take those cell phone pics, I'd say your chances to fill tags are very high. Best of luck to you both!
