Just curious..

It is hard to find the right glue for the job with a flex agent in it.

From the picture, I would say it is a sliver.

I would still start the process to replace your limbs, but would wait until after the hunting season (warranty busy season) to replace them. Either call Danny or go to this site home page and click the tab "service", then follow directions.

I believe that if you do as Normous said, clip and lightly sand, you will be fine.

Youngguns, welcome to the forum... :)
Sorry to see your problem with the limb... :(

In case you are not aware, Excalibur also will sell you directly replacement "blemish limbs" that would be good to have for just this exact situation... and the "Blem" limbs also carry the same warranty so you would never be without a backup set..

If interested, give Dawn a call at 800-463-1817. Ext.# 204.. The limbs are $80.00 plus shipping.. If you were to do this, ask for the 4 shoulder bolts and the plastic sleeves that the limbs sit on when mated to the riser.. The limbs are very easy to swap out too..

Good luck..

I've had the same type sliver on limbs. I broke the piece off and used my dremel to take the chip off (carefully) then lightly sanded it smooth. I shot my M380 like that for almost a year before I replaced the limbs.

I shot one just like that one for two years after just popping it off, did not even sand it out. No POI changes at all.

Shoot it!!! I had the same thing on my Mad Max last year, I'm still shoot'n it after filling the freezer with it like that last year, and taking a nice 13 pointer with it,,,, peale it off lightly sand it or just shoot it without smoothing it, but break it of so it don't end up in your hand!! Your safe for season take off,,,,,
