daddy's new toy

Post by xbowrook »

it's not a new bow or anything like that, but I did take the plunge and get a new ( new to me) truck.. this will be the baby that takes me and my boy to our hunting spots this year..

we have been settling for vehicles the last 9 years, driving what we could afford or what family members were selling.. well I finally, after over 20 years of waiting to own one, purchased my truck... it's not new, but in amazing condition... here I am standing by my new baby, my 2012 Ram 1500 ST Quad Cab 4x4

Congrats! I too took the plunge about 2 months ago and traded in my Jeep for an 06 Silverado Crew Cab. Best choice I've made in a while.

Now then, get your equipment, your quiver and bow, and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

thanks guys and gals.. I sure feel like I deserve it, been working my tail off providing for wife and kids , sure feels good to pull in the drive way with a nice truck.. had 3 people say they thought it was a 2014 or 2015, jaws dropped when I said it's a 2012... here is a better pic showing the entire truck.. I am smiling from ear to ear, just so thrilled with this thing..

Nice!
I'm sure you'll enjoy that one!

I had the bright idea that I should go back to a regular cab on my last pickup truck (2011 Ford Ranger), since I was retiring.
Big mistake!
Now the fishin' poles have to ride in the toolbox, and the Phoenix in the bed.

you'll love the 4 door. I always had extended cabs till a year or so ago. 4 doors are sweet. Very, very nice.
