Bow seal help!

Hi everyone! Okay so tomorrow is opening day here in Ontario and this is my first year out.. Now I have two tags one for bow and one for the controlled hunt. On the bow seal it said I need to have my deer licence for that hunt but my deer licence is attached to me controlled deer seal... So my question is, am I allowed to rip off the deer licence to take it with me when I got out tomorrow?! All help is appreciated!

Did you have 2 purchased tags in your possession or one? If you only have one purchased tag and fill it with archery equipment you are tagged out but can also Party Hunt during the controlled hunt if you hunt together cooperatively with another hunter who has a valid tag.

I purchased to tags but the deer licence is connected to the controlled hunt but the bow tag says I need the deer licence... My or problem being I don't know if I can detach the deer licence so I can take it with my with my bow tag...
(Was told I can't take both tags with me)

Sorry, I don't have the answer for you. Perhaps you require your Outdoor Card and tag together

Did you purchase an additional archery tag?
Or apply for the antlerless tag?
How did you purchase both tags?
I applied for an antlerless tag. When successful that tag can be uaed for antlerless bow season or in the controlled hunt for whatever your controlled hunt is for ie usually in my wmu its antlered or antlerless. If i was unsuccessful i would have been mailed my regular buck tag.
When you apply for controlled hunt you usually only get the controlled hunt endorsement which requires either the antlerless tag mentioned above or the buck tag.
I also bought an archery only additional tag good for bow only season in specific wmu.

The controlled Validations do not come out till the 10th of October. So I am not sure what you all have . If you got a deer lic at a store and put in for the for draw. Then you only have one deer tag. And if you get a validation for the controlled hunt you are still only at one deer. If you got a extra tag for a unit that has them then you will be able to shoot a second deer .as it stands you can shoot one deer with ether your bow or well on the controlled hunt..

Hi everyone, the controled tags are not out yet... What I have is a farmers tag for the controlled hunt (sorry) and yes I bought an additional tag only for bow, but on the bow tag it says you need to carry the deer licence with you at all times but my problem is the deer licence is attached to my farmers tag and where I am you can't carry two tags At once so I was wondering if I am alowed to detach the deer licence from the farmers tag so I can carry it with the bow tag

I understand now. Ya remove your deer lic it doesnt need to be attached to a specific tag.
