In my opinion the air brakes don't do much on the small to mid range bows.
I prefer a 40 strand string with whiskers, heavier arrows, and limb silencers.
I feel the 40 strand reduce noise, vibration, and recoil shock, and are more accurate.
Best thing is ear plugs
I have never heard a deer or target complain about the noise when shot.
my arrows weigh 427.8 gn with 125 gn tip attached.
I prefer to use a 40 strand string on my 310 for target shooting all afternoon.
I use a 28 to 32 strand string on my 330 for hunting.
Ron.
