Sorry for spouting poop to you but if you would have read ALL the posts on both the threads you would understand why I jumped on you.
I work very hard to make a quality stock custom made to order and I will not sit by and be insulted.
My goodness it was not that long ago that there was no such thing as a finger guard. Who did you people push the blame on then?
Screw it. All my stocks are made to order. Done.

I caught my thumb in my Exomax last year, Didn't break the skin. But oh man did it hurt. Can't imagine your's though. I was warned about the Triangle of Hurt, but still had to try it for myself (by accident). Now every time I go to fire the thing, I check my hand placement. Hope you have a speady recovery.

I know the stock was made the customer specifications and I did read the all of the posts in both topics.

I ONLY said it still could still be added after the fact. Much like adding a cheek piece on a standard stock.

I have made no assertions regarding you or your work, which I am sure is very good.

I understand you are feeling a upset, but I said nothing that should have caused more problems. You have misunderstood what I said and I am sorry for that.

Unless you have hands that can grip a basketball like a orange .
Custom stock without guards.
I am so sorry to see what happened to you. It does show the type of person you are to be able to look after yourself and take care of the situation. My hat is off to you.

Yes, I have been around crossbows for many years, even way back when us forum members asked Excalibur for stocks which gave protection for the fingers. Excalibur did do that with the newer stocks, but there are still alot of the older units in use.

There is "no real easy adjustment" (perment fix) on a work of art custom stock from Aggin. To do anything directly to the wood, could ruin the finish of the stock.

What some people did in the past was to stick a very thin strip of velcro (the fuzzy half, not the hook side) just below the rail. When you feel the velcro, you know your fengers are getting too high.

Again, sorry to hear about your injury and hope you heal fast with no lasting effects.

I'll say it one more time:

Mike(Aging) bears none of the blame. He built the stock to my specifications - I chose no guards. My fault for being careless.

Saw the pics and now read the follow up story. Very sorry this happened to you but I must commend you on how calm you stayed and how well you handled the situation after it happened. Well done!! :)

and I have been on this site for more than 5 years this account is only a month old but I am not. This account was to replace my original which I could not access any longer.
The dawn of a new day. First off I'd like to apologize to Rifleman and to all the members for being so defensive. All it took was one member saying " Don't use that stock anymore" and the fireworks are on. My life is controlled by drugs. I took my PM drugs instead of my AM drugs along with having been stuck in the house because of a cold did not make Mike what he should be. Everything I see is wrong and I lash out. NOW, after a good nights sleep and back on the correct drugs I am just left embarrassed. Not the first time and surely not the last. PLEASE do not judge me just on yesterday's outburst. That is not who I want to be. Aging

An outburst does not make me judge a person . It just goes to show how much passion you put into each and every stock you craft . :)

....tru dat!....I was Blessed with having worked with Mike during the Boofest fund raising and actually met the man behind the creation at Boofest...

....He's not only a master craftsman, he has a heart of gold and is very protective of his masterpieces!

I'll bet you he remembers each and everyone of his works of art...I guess similar to child bearing

....yea Mike's a good soul and I am happy to call him, "a friend!"

....Joe, I have followed the "graphic" thread and now this one...wow, I can't even imagine the pain you went through (and probably still are!)...I'm not sure if one of the first things I would have been looking for would have been a nice smooth Scotch or three....and I don't drink any more!

....Glad to see that you are on the mend...

....It just goes to show how true the phrase, "it's not if it will happen, it's when it will happen", really is!

Get better quickly!
