Old kid has horshoe up his $%#

Post by DesertRat »

Hehe. Things have been going well for Old Kid this week. Wed he nailed the fatest doe I have ever seen. I am talking Rosie O' Donnel fat. Sat morning he bags a real nice 7 point. Sun morning I get a call saying he needs help yet again. This time it is his nice big 8 pointer. Nice work old kid ya lucky bastige

P.S. he is the one in the truck, not by the tailgate

GaryL, he did not bring it to me for cleaning. He dressed this one himself but I have some info that some of you may need to take sitting down. Are you sitting yet? HIS WIFE DRESSED THE SECOND ONE FOR HIM!!! Yep, you are reading correctly. To be honest, she is twice as fast with the knife as he is. Earlier this fall I saw her gut a bear in a couple of minutes. Maybe if I say enough nice things about her here she will help me dress my deer (if) I get one.

Congrats! On the wife, not the deer! You can bag a deer anytime, bagging a gal like that makes her a real 'trophy wife'. I thought I did real good getting my wife, one that would cook and eat venison, but I think he has me beat. 8)

Yeah guys she's definately a keeper. We went on a bear hunt on labour day weekend and she shoots the bear!!... and then field dresses it before getting back to camp. She also goes moose hunting for two weks in the bush with our group and actually hunts as much as most of the guys.I guess I am definitely a very lucky man!!! :D :D

Old Kid
Saw your photo of the Buck in the Truck. Did you forget your knife or just never heard about FIELD Dressing your deer.
