The Eagle will not be landing till Monday....than I have to figure out how I sneak it in the house?
Open the small package first (DBs & pads) then explain that a friend gave them to you, but you didn't have a bow they would fit on. :?
Rather than offend your friend, you ordered a bow so they would not be wasted! :D

The Ibex is bomb proof. I have a friend who has lost count of the dryfires on his Ibex. Worst thing that happens is the string flies off. Amazing bow. :D

Hank is right about that, I found mine in my neighbors bushes about a week after the D.F! One of a couple I might add.

Whats funny is that after the first few flying strings, we knew automatically where to look. Twenty yards forward and ten to the right. I suggested he get luminok to make up something for his strings.

.....you guys are way too funny and thanks for all of your great input....It's amazing how I have come full circle. My thought process:

1. Middle son Chris buys me a Barnett Quad 400 to get me back into hunting,
2. I have a great time and shoot a deer with it,
3. Make a decision after that season to find a "better" crossbow,
4. Begin research,
5. Come across Excalibur website and laugh when I first saw the huge wingspan,
6. Continue research,
7. Keep coming back to the Excalibur CB's because of it's simplicity, accuracy, ability to decock, and work on it without going to a proshop,
8. Continue to laugh at the wingspan,
9. Excalibur comes out with the Matrix 380, smaller wingspan,
10. I'm sold and buy one...
11. Absolutely love it and laugh at all the "stupid forum members" who own more than one CB,
12. Shoot two deer...loving the 380 more each day,
13. Continue to laugh at all of the "stupid forum members" who own more than one Excalibur CB,
14. Micro 335 comes out...oh so sweet and smaller yet,
15. Convince myself that I "need" the Micro 335,
16. Purchase the 335 with the intent of selling the M380,
17. Fall in love with the 335 shoot my first deer with it this year, but
18. I can't bring myself to sell the 380 because it is such a tack driver,
19. Two bows are more than enough, after all you can only shoot one at a time,
20. Laugh at all of the "stupid forum members" who own more than two  Excalibur crossbows,
21. And those members who own the the big, wide, old models what are they thinking of,
22. Meet two guys last week who shoot the IBEX aluminum rail Excalibur,
23. Decide to shoulder it just to prove to myself that the older models are nothing more than a bow of the past,
24.    The IBEX is so sweet and comfortable and shoulders great...
25. I feel powerless...I will not do it!, I will not do it!
26. I purchase an aluminum rail IBEX and can't wait to get it....
27. I think I will stop laughing at all of the "smart forum members"....who know so much more than me!

.....and so that is how it all happened!

Anthony, that might quickly become your favorite, especially at the range. That is an all day shooter for sure.

Anthony, would it be accurate to say that you haven't shot a Y25 yet?
