Good luck everyone. My son and I are in the blind on top of the mountain. Got here at 0630, by 0700 he wanted to nap and I told him that I needed his eyes for the low light. By 0730 he said he couldn't stay awake any longer. He just woke up. Lol

No pic's but i was in my Hang-On this morin before legal shootin hrs. Winds swirlin badly 39 degrees, at 8:15 i saw a deer. I watched it come up the overgrowed loggin road, it had antlers. It turned in front of me eatin acorns 15 yds 4 pt, weak left side fork better right side fork. Not as big in the body as the 2 Doe's i have killed. Soon as i saw the lil rack i wasn't interested in killin him. He got out about 27 yds watched him work over a low hangin branch, mouthin it ubbin his eyes in the leaves pawed out a scrape n peed over over himself, It was a fine mornin Hunt

Sat for a couple hours and got cold.
Frost here this morning, plenty of squirrels at the feeder but no deer sighted. :(

Only shot fired was a sight check before I climbed down from the stand.
Dead leaf for sure!

Noth'n this morning, or the last two evening's other than a couple more sight'ns of the the little 8 pointer that evidently realizes I don't want him, or he's a stupid little prack? Anyway I did see 2 pair of mallards swim by on the river 45 yards to my south side of the stand. Didn't see any other vehicles parked anywhere coming or going this morning.

Right now their is 1 mile long by 1/2 mile deep corn field runs along the rive opposite of where I am hunting the last 2 days, I am sure when they pull that I will be in the ladies,, just the way it works,,,or has years past anyways. But the view and 35* temps this morning were worth the trip,,,

I'll see what happens tonight, if the combine ain't runn'n I'll hit another stand!
