Really a lot of fun shooting the crossbow in general, but man what a hunting tool! You really can reach out with them, but I waited for a nice broadside 25 yard shot and put him down in quick order.
He did make it a bit farther than I thought he should/would, but I heard him crash in probably less than 7 seconds...amazing the ground they can cover, even on a double lung shot.
Beautiful weekend, that cold front moving in was great to hunt in!
Now it's time to scout for permit season!

After the shot, went through him like he wasn't even there and buried all the way to the knock in the ground after passing through!
