doe #2

Post by tammie »

It has been pretty warm here ,too hot most evenings to go.I have managed to get in 5 sets so far .Got one doe a couple of weeks ago.All of them seem to have a baby with ,most still covered in spots.so ive waited patiently for another mature doe .i got fussed at last week a lil for shooting right in the shoulder(as i would with weatherby 257 magnum) i was excited lol!&it went right through both shoulders...but anyways i got back further on this shot ,it was perfect &she jumped straight up & proceeded to run through a dried up ,disked up field(extreme drought here...again)pouring blood for a hundred yards just into the tree line.i couldnt see her from stand so i waited 15 and went looking & there she was.Soo 2 does &,i found both of my luminoks with 125 muzzy trocars.not too shabby..Meanwhile the husband is getting picked on....whyd you bring her?......whats up man you gonna have to start leaving her at the house?....He loves it ...taught me everything i know & bought me that matrix 380 & all the stuff to go with & theres a LOT of stuff to go with!Still got 3 buck tags left ...gotta get back in the woods ,but first gotta make that paycheck.

It's good to know women love this sport too. Congratulations on your does. Those things sure taste good. If I can have venison, I don't eat beef. Love wild pork too.
Hope you fill all you buck tags too.
