I went from an Exomax to a M380 to a Micro (actually still have all three), and if I had it to do over, I'd go straight to the Micro.

For the kind of hunting I do, size matters more than speed.

....I just love my Micro for many different reasons all espoused previously on this forum....it is my go to CB each and every day I am afield...with that said, I equally love my 380....Why?....because it loves me!  ....seriously though....it is a tack driver...it has that added oomph!...It truly can reach out and touch someone...if I know, I will be going into a hunting situation where that needed extra distance or speed is needed....then....out it will be with me...no questions asked!....

....as for why I just bought an aluminum rail slower and wider Excalibur...sometimes we just would like to go out and shoot, and shoot, and shoot all day....ah yes the IBEX! (similar to taking your slug gun to the range with 3" magnums   and bringing the .22 rifle for plinking :D )....

....JMHO!

Yup i love postin on this topic. The 405 fer me was too heavy but i loved the speed. Yup the bug got me hard, so havin the Micro of which covers all of my huntin on my place because its very thick cover. I sold the 355 because i wanted anudder faster micro but decided the 380 was faster but less weight over-all than the 405 of which i traded. So now i have an open area model 380 which will shine out to 75 yds. Micro short n real compact fer the thick stuff. Its all good wid me

Thanks guys I can always get good answers here. Reading through all the responses I now know I should avoid the 405, but will definitely need a 380, a 355, a Micro, should keep my Equinox as a backup, and throw an Ibex on top for target practice. With twins on the way this December somehow I foresee a problem getting clearance on that plan.

Should I ask which camo options I need too?

In all honesty I was leaning for a 380 but am now considering the micro as well. Is it a huge power difference from a 380? In the PA woods maneuverability is always a good thing... now sincerely thanks it has all been good food for thought.

The Micro 335 nCamo seems to be 6-11 fps slowere than the Nitemare. Mine is Nitemare shoots 346 fps, but gets 337 fps usin 380gr arrows. So you will lose about 35-40 fps wid a Micro Nitemare vs a 380.
