405 first shot's

Post by donjose »

Well got everything rockin today,

1. Yes I can cock this Beast, after 8 times I said it's time for the C2 then I was laughing.

2. The Big Black Block target for crossbows doesnt remove as easy when the arrow is sticking out 1 inches on the other side. Plus it made my pretty Zombies smeared as the heat must have been to much.

3. This is not a bow for beginners unless you like being hard headed...

4. Setting brace height with the C2 easy as pie.

5. I wouldnt even think about shooting long periods without the C2

6. She is a Beast.........

LOL, yes she is...

The decals smearing on your shafts is norman, it's the friction from the rail and the target. If they get too ugly ( if it matters ), you can clean them off with acetone on a cloth and rub the decal off... That's why I gave up on wraps for my arrows. They don't stay pretty...lol

Post up a couple beauty shots of that beast.. We love pics :)

I had to use my sons computer to post last photos because the firewall we use for work wont allow me to get on photobucket.. However since i was shooting in the backyard of a house I am renting i spaced taking some photo's.. Next weekend I am heading to our place in the country and will stretch it out to 40-50 yards and take some photo's for sure. In the mean time i need to decide on which way to go for a target bow for backyard fun.....Also I am heading to Auto Zone to get some shrink wrap for the loud sound coming from the arrow hold down...Image

I happen to know Norman (Enormus) and he looks nothing like a smeared zombie!! but I bet he could smear a coupla of zombies. likely all at once

As much as I like the decal, it's easier remove arrow if you take it off. What I find cool is with the 405 I get pain transfer from the bottom of my target onto the grass. it hits THAT HARD! then again my arrows are nearing 500g

try some silicone spray on the arrow for easier removal. Or dish soap
