I hate when that happens. You should consider a rag bag target.

It's a nice problem to have when hunting!
It’s not the way you rock, it’s the way that you roll!

I have the Rhino Block, forget which one. It stops them about 9 inches out of 18. The only problem is that the speed melts the target to the arrow. So a good release agent is needed.

A good problem to have...sort of...gets hard on the fletching pretty quick.

Yeah i will be getting a rag bag . I have plenty of old clothes and bedding to fill one . I'll have to get something for broad heads too eventually .this target still is ok for now on the broad heads side .

I also have the Rhino Block, but do not have any melting problems , do you have a high poundage bow?No One wrote:I have the Rhino Block, forget which one. It stops them about 9 inches out of 18. The only problem is that the speed melts the target to the arrow. So a good release agent is needed.

For the money you can't go wrong with the Morrell's Yellow Jacket crossbow target. Stops them every time. They only downside is field points only.

Yeah various things have kept me from bow hunting this year . Have not been around the forum much , a bit of a downer to see all the deer taken and such since i can't get out . I was planing to go the last two weeks but that's not probably going to happen either . I'll make gun season , probably going to use my .50 airgun until I get a deer then try for another with one of my Excaliburs . We'll see , i kinda expect something to come up and keep me from goingStarvin' Hillbilly wrote:Very hard on targets! . . .glad to see ya MI Yeti you been gone a spell . . . hope all is well

Re: Having a problem with my exocet ...
I used to have a bag target for target tips, it got wet and really didn't work right without drying it total out....when I shoot BH's I just use that white styro block from walmart that is 24'x24'x12' wide for bout 17 bucks....now I just shoot BH's any more, just to keep my exocet 200 is sighted in....blowing through targets is just part of owning a exocet 200 ....
