Rough safety

I have an ibex SMf. The other day I shot a buck with it and re cocked it after my first shot. Now my safety lever seems like it has a rough spot in it. I sprayed it with lube and it is better but not like it was. Bow still seems to work like it should anyone have any ideas why it's like that now?

The only "feel" you get from a safety is the detent ball so it may have been just in need of lubrication or a tiny bit of debris in the indent of the safety lever.

Thanks for the reply. At first I thought it was just moisture that froze it was cold that morning. I will spray it a few more times and work it back and forth.
