This may sound like a dumb question for you string maker's. Do we need to do any waxing with our new strings? Each one I've ever bought feels already waxed up pretty good. Just want to be sure. Thanks.

You don't have to wax. In theory, BCY and Brownell supply their material with wax. However, I've received several one pound spools from both with absolutely no wax. The bottom line is that it's better to wax than not. Use very little and you'll never go wrong.
