Hmmm...looks like the perfect time to pick up a new tried and true M380 at a discount. I'll let ya'll be the beta testers for these new bows. Hopefully Excal did their due diligence in the durability testing.

I've not watched the videos but I'm wondering how that trigger feels on the bullpup stock. Bullpups typically require linkages for the trigger to sear and tend not to be that crisp. Wonder if a TT will drop into that model?

I'd love to see a +400fps bow with the same stock and dimensions as the M355.

Well they went and got rid of the older bows now. Darn!!!!

If the new lineup is as reliable as the exo class bows then ok maybe.

One thing that will be a pain in the butt on the bulldog is the safety location way too far away from the hand. while I understand their reason for leaving it there (cost of total redesign) it will be a royal pain in the field especially for decocking the crossbow. No more quick shots as you have to remove your hand from the trigger/stock to flip the safety.

Going from memory all bullpup type firearms have a safety near the trigger that can be actuated by the thumb or index finger without taking you hand off the firearm.

Other than that not bad!

Interesting that they redesigned the riser to make the bow more reliable I would have thought that BAD design and lack of testing was not an issue with Excalibur. Are they going to give new risers (or at least a serious discount) to the matrix 405 folks and will this "FIX" actually make the bulldog more reliable in the field?

The new products all look great.

But my Matrix 380 has a proven track record and I am not going to change a thing.

Except, I am getting older and a cocking aid my be on my list.

Agreed...
I'm also curious if the riser on the Micro 335 will be updated? I assume so, but from the stock pictures it's still the same.
The 335 Micro has a swept back Riser, so its doubtful they will issue a diff Riser

dont think the Matrix line will totally go away.
dont think everyone will necessarily like the forward trigger. fit and feel is different for everyone. you also have a pin and a connecting bar that connects the trigger to the box. you mite have a light trigger with some slop.hope they do it right!

The Bulldog looks cool but the stock design leaves your trigger hand way too far from the safety. You'll have to completely remove your trigger hand from the grip to disengage the safety. May sound picky but these are the kind of things that affect shooting form and that matters to me. Also creates extra movement while hunting. Just my 2 cents. :D
