Use your complete arrow. Use something like a pencil to find your balance point (B.P.). Be exact. Take measurements from the nock end. Measure the overall length (O.A.L.) of the shaft including the field point or broadhead. Find the center point of the shaft including the field point or broadhead.
Now, subtract the balance point from the center point and divide by the overall length. ......B.P. - C.P. / O.A.L. = %F.O.C.
