Block xbow target vs excalibur xbow target?

Post by bowmajik »

Hi all, I'm thinking of buying a new target and I was wondering what would be my best choice? I've narrowed down my selection to either the excal xbow target and the block xbow target. I'm curious as to which one will give me more target life. Any advice or pointers and personal opinions would be greatly appreciated

Are you looking for an everyday target or field points target? .....Either way, field points only, Third Hand Archery 'Rag Bag Target'. Broadheads target, Rhinehart's Rhinoblock Target' or Rhinehart's '18-in-1" target. Of course you can shoot field points into the Rhineharts but the bag target allows far easier and faster arrow removal.

I'm looking for an every day target for field points but I also want to have the option to shoot broadheads at the target during hunting season so I can tune my scope to my bh's

After trying many targets, the Rinehart target has lasted the longest. I would recommend using a teflon spray on your arrows for easier removal.

I use a rag bag, super easy arrow removal, and I also use a Rinehart block which has a replaceable section in case u destroy it with broad heads.

I was looking at the Excalibur target recently and it looks identical to my block invasion target. If it is the same I would not recommend it for field points as they are very hard to remove from this style target, it's good for broadheads but I use a bag for field points so I don't damage arrows pulling them out of the target
