My 35 yr old split hide sand bags are bustin open. So i figure some of y'all have been usin past several yrs or so. I need sumpin that will let me get a decent steady hold. My bags always had me usin 2x6" to jack them up enuff to use properly

I've been using the Caldwell Matrix rest. It is light weight, solid and most importantly inexpensive about $25. Sorry can't get the photo to work but I'm sure you can Google it

OK maybe ppl. i worded it wrong ya knowed. What shootin rests have y'all got that you think is good fer the funds spent? BVP says he has n likes the Caldwell Matrix. I am off to look at it

These are my range stix by Hammers. I don't use them hunting though. i do have a Caldwell, but don't really use it much with the Xbows!

For the bench I've got a Caldwell dead sled DFT. It's awesome but expensive and a bit of a pain to lug around. I recently picked up a Caldwell dead shot...or steady shot. I can't remember which is the actual name but it's an H shaped bag filled with media and I'm really loving it and I'm finding it's become my go to rest for all ranges of the bench. I use another bag I've filled three quarters full of rice for the butt stock in conjunction and this works perfectly.

I made a folding shooting table and carved a block of stiff foam to fit the foregrip on my beast. Seconds to set up, seconds to take down. I would post a pic but I have no adapter to fit this stupid tablet.

Mike, I got tired of hauling all my shooting stuff to the lake when we go so I bought a "Cheapie" rest to leave out there. It is an MTM K-Zone rest, and it is plastic and a real "Cheapie"..... But it works very well! It is much better than it should be for what it costs. I have used it 3-4 times and I am impressed with it. It is adjustable for length and height and is a very stable platform to shoot from.
I don't know how long it will hold up, but it is great so far, and it is not an arm and a leg price wise. Also being plastic it doesn't weigh much so it is easier for me to get around. Just a thought.

I use adjustable rest for my rifle because I had it for 40 years .Sandbag under the rear below the trigger ...Some use their cleaning rifle station to shoot bow...It clamps in bow tight ......

If i got something it would be a station you can clean your firearms and hold your bow also ...I like the adjustable rifle rest only for front and use sandbag for rear ..........This way i can get bow up high enough and not have to lower my head to shoot ...
