New Member and a New Micro 335 Owner

Post by steveOh »

I have just upgraded my 1991 Horton Hunter to a new Micro 335 purchased from Wyvern Creations. It came with the Hawke XB1 IR scope and 6 Gold Tip Swift Pro arrows with 100 grain field points weighing a total of about 385 gr. I will primarily be using the new Micro for hunting. I just put it together and I have not had a chance to shoot it yet. Until then I'll be perusing the posts for info on the 335.

....SteveOh you're gonna love the Micro 335... If you have not done so I would consider picking up a stringer from Danny Miller so you can maintain proper brace height... While doing so I might consider a backup string and I think you will be good to go...

..... There's a lot to learn on the forum and a lot of opinions about what works best in terms of arrows, BH, strings, scopes and the like... My suggestion is to shoot your setup until you are familiar with it, ask your questions, soon you might want to venture over to the Excalibur Garage where the hammers are banging, drills are in use and just a lot of tinkering goes on....

..... Welcome aboard!

Great choice Steve !!! I love my micro. And what an upgrade from your Horton. I came over from Horton Legend and couldn't be happier. Lots of info here for sure. Welcome to the club. I have a 335 as well.

Thanks to all for the welcoming. I did purchase a stringer and an extra string when I bought the bow. Will be shooting and sighting in the Hawke scope later this week.
