Air Brakes on a Micro 355

Post by ads1 »

First post on here but have been shooting an Equinoxfor about 3 years. Now I have a new Micro 355. It chronographs an average of 334 fps with no air brakes. Then Draves Archery at Effingham, Il put on Air Brakes and it chronographs at 330 fps. I am super impressed with accuracy at 20 and 30 yards. Technical advice from Excalibur has been outstanding so I am excited to be a proud owner of this fine crossbow and this forum has been super helpful. Thanks to all of you. :D

That's about the speed loss I've gotten from Air Brakes on M380&405.

Thank you for your response. Based upon what I had read thought it might be a greater loss. IMO a good trade off for the reduction in noise and vibration.
