Thunderbay 17hours 20 min. Drop school supply's and a hug from the daughter at university supper of champions diet Pepsi and a joe Louis and we are back on the road . Moose hunting that's the life lol

Note to self if your only going to forget to pack one thing don't let it be the power supply cord if you have sleep apnea . 1900 km away and it's going to suck at the end of 2 weeks if I can't sleep . 21 hours straight driving and I was so looking forward to going to sleep

Got lucky and found a home med supply company in Dryden who had a used power supply for $75 which is far better than 2 weeks of no sleep . Back on the road and be in the bush setting stands by 4 hope it's tgat easy to find a moose

Just had out first moose encounter Kristin and I saw him across the bay at 1500 yards I could call and get his attention but he would not swin across . They have not started to rut here but he may work his way around . He was a big one large palms . Cool for her to see her first ever moose alive . Now to show her a dead one

Last week was Moose crossbow hunting opening in Quebec.
Had a big femele 30 yards! Grrrrrr.....Well she just got a very lucky break. Only allowed buck this years.
Can't wait to see pics.

I'm sure we put one off the road thismorning . We went to set up a nee beat bait on the quad and as we rounded a corner there where fresh tracks walking down the road and the last 30 feet they where throwing up dirt to get. Off the road in a hurry ,
