You don't need to remove the trigger to polish the jaws. Go to the Boocustomstrings.com website where Don explains in great detail how to polish a trigger. If you go the Trigger Tech route, you'll probably still have to polish their jaws as well. I have a few of their triggers and they're awesome...but all needed polishing.
Lastly, as already mentioned, I don't 'lube' the rail but I do use a silicone spray for cleaning it. This is a good thing. Spray a small amount onto a microfiber cloth, wipe down the rail (and not getting any on your serving) then wipe the rail clean with a clean part of the cloth to get any residue.
