I had a Gomer pile moment this weekend with the micro. Thought I had the classic TT no latch issue. It was actually latched and ready to go. You can imagine my surprise when I pulled the trigger and the ADF stopped the self destruction of my limbs... Let's just say if I didn't have ADF my hunt would have been ruined. Thanks for installing the ADF on my Micro Excalibur.
On a side note no luck in Michigan for me but that just means I still have my game seal and get to go back and try it again...lol

ADF success story
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

Yes, it's good to have and it's one of those things that seems so logical to have that you wonder why every bow hasn't had it since the first bolts were fired however many centuries ago. Well done Excalibur.

Re: ADF success story
....I could not even imagine hunting with an Excalibur without the ADF....fortunately the 335, 380 and the 400 are idiot proof

When you pulled the trigger, were you looking at a deer through the scope?
Were you hunting without an arrow? Or target shooting

Re: ADF success story
Yeah, I had some "ADF success stories" yesterday .
Had three misfires before I discovered that the arrow retainer spring wasn't retaining the arrows! Lowering the "muzzle" anywhere beyond horizontal caused the arrows to slide forward. I don't know why I didn't notice this sooner.
Pretty embarrassing, but I'm very thankful for adding the ADF to my new Matrix 355 at the time I bought the bow.
(BTW, I was at the range, not hunting)

Got to stand cocked the bow. Thought hmm didn't latch. Let the string down on the ADF so I thought. Pulled the trigger to disengage the latches. Doo it was cocked you fool!!!!
ADF best invention since sliced bread..
