Re: Dr. Stirrup Less Noise?
It's my opinion that even if there isn't a noticeable change in decibels, the gains are well worth it.
I find using the 4x4 cocker does seem to make drawing my bow easier and it is nice to use both feet on the stirrup for drawing and a built in stand. Plus the cone protects you from a broad head, and the rubber bumpers seem to be indistructable.

....each of my three bows have the complete kit.... just what the Dr ordered...would never go back to the original setup!

I personally didn't see enough sound deadening to warrant the weight increase. I'm not a fan of the product, but I do like Gaston's bumpers.

Re: Dr. Stirrup Less Noise?
I didn't weigh the 2 stirrups but neither weighs much. With a 380,400,405 and being 5'9" and almost being almost 70, I really appreciate the reduced cocking effort. Using both feet and the cocking handles really help.
Re: Dr. Stirrup Less Noise?
I absolutely love the whole setup.
The stirrup not only makes cocking the bow easier, it also makes it safer and there is the added benefit of always drawing the bow evenly. Plus if you hunt from ground blinds, it can act as a shooting rest.
Sound reading? Maybe a bit, but it definitely changes the sound from a twang to more of a thwack.
All in all, if I had the choice, I would buy it again.

Great product do your back a favor and don't forget the safety factor of not having the chance of arrow foot when de-cocking!!
