Yep, can't understand how they went belly up?? Buckshot is finally releasing parts, and soon stands again. Very solid stand that allows you to climb high safely!

Just ordered a few natural wood blanks to try. (walnut-osage-granidillo-cocobolo)

I also checked the USPS website and it looks like it would still cost an unreasonable amount to ship a call to Canada insured ($25.00 for insured priority mail).

But for those with a US shipping address I'll have a few calls available this year.

Right now I'm down to one call on hand (African Blackwood - $50.00 (shipped to a US address). Sorry folks, it's SOLD now!

Looks like walnut, osage, and granadillo will sell for $35.00 and cocobolo for $40.00.

Got part of my order and turned an Osage call.
Another problem with wood is that a picture doesn't do it justice.
Nice deep grain, but it just doesn't show in a picture.
Osage will darken with age. I made an osage longbow a few decades ago (80s) and it's a very dark brown now.

I was one of the lucky Canadians to get a wabi call when he was still shipping this way. Actually I have two. A camo and a flaming ash. They are very functional art. The flaming ash is usually hanging on my '68's rear view mirror when it's not with me in the feild.

Tried a new (to me) wood - Granadillo.
Looks nice to me.
(Indoor flash picture makes it look a bit darker then it is in natural light)

I wanted to clarify I will ship to Canada, but it's the postal service and exchange rate that makes the calls so expensive to folks above the border.
The least expensive option right now for me to ship & insure a call is to ship it Flat Rate Priority ($25. USD) and that would make a $35. (USD) call end up costing over $80. (CAD) + whatever duties & taxes you might have to pay.

Thanks wabi. They are gorgeous calls. At this point in time I can't justify one, but that doesn't mean that one day I won't. :)
