I got lucky
It happened this evening, I was at the range sighting in my hha optimizer that my wife got me for Christmas, and I dry fired my bow
Thank God it wasn't a wheelie bow. I think I got lucky, I checked it over thoroughly and didn't see any flaws in the limbs. I ran my sweater over the limbs and didn't feel it catch on anything. Grabbed a ruler and checked the distance between string and bumpers, exactly the same as before. So I carefully cooked it loaded a bolt and shot. POI was only a little left of where it was previously, shot twice more and had three bolts in a tight little group. So I proceeded with the sight in and shot for a couple hours.
Should I take it to my local shop and have them look it over? Or is there anything else I need to look for or watch for? Also if a limb does fail due to this will my stupidity be covered under warranty?
Thanks Jesse

Re: I got lucky
Do like you did with the sweater, but use cotton balls over the limbs, any snags should be looked at. Sounds like you're OK though.
It’s not the way you rock, it’s the way that you roll!
Re: I got lucky
Jesse, I would remove the string from the bow and have a good look at the limb tips. Look for a loose limb tip or cracks. Your string loops should be checked for elongation.
Assuming you see nothing, keep shooting but keep an eye on your brace height, your tiller and your POI.
