Axiom Modification

By cutting the rail down on my axiom I hope to put matrix limbs on for a more compact crossbow.
I know a lot have done it with other metal railed bows but I haven't heard of any doing it with an axiom.
Provided cutting the rail is fine, what about other components, trigger, riser etc with the extra weight from the shorter limbs.

Living in Australia and having little knowledge about this, I have no idea who i would look for, a Machinist?

Is this because of the synthetic main frame?

Yes, The two bolts that hold the riser On would no longer have the molded through holes, the rest of the rail doesn't have enough material for you to put a bolt through. Jefro

If'en yer rail is alum. you can make the mods. I jus had an old vixen made into a matrix 360 fps usin 400gr arrows

If You had an aluminum mainframe on the axiom it would be a simple mill and drill
operation. I've machined a exo mainframe and put a matrix riser and limbs on it.I also shortened the stock about an inch and a half. it's overall length is about three quarters of an inch shorter than the matrix 355 and shoots nearly as fast. If you look at the bolt holes in your synthetic mainframe you'll notice there's extra material there for the bolt holes ,if you shorten the mainframe there is not enough material to drill two new holes.
