REDS and DB Killer

How close should these be to the string??

Grizzly X bow if it matters.

should be touching or should there be some clearance?

A good starting point is 1/4" between the string and bumper on the REDS. The DB Killers should have the string almost touching the bumpers.
Some people just like stepping on rakes
