#1 son bloods 335

Post by Goose52 »

My son hasn't shot many bucks but christened his bow with a gnarly 9 pointer on opening day yesterday. we wanted to christen the new "deer camp" in the back of his shed with a few beers but needed to get the buck into a cooler with the warm temps.

Thanks for all the kind replies.
No summer sausage, elkoholic, grandson prefers honey bbq vennie sticks. my fav is snacking bologna from gary's in wallace, mi. also, his right g2 is split & damaged so something happened to him early in the growing season i guess. my son prefers european mounts which should emphasize the rack's character.
i gave my son a sears c3 brad nailer for xmas & it worked pretty slick on the shiplap. kinda like a poor man's butane framing nailer and no need to run a generator.
i've never hunted this early in the season before and the sweat and the bugs drove me out of my stand in the afternoons. idk how our southern brethren handle warm weather hunting.
sproul, i am not familiar with gary alt.

Get a bug tamer jacket that comes with a see thru mesh hood, that's what I use and can sit on stand and not be bothered by bugs, also you can use a thermacell.
