The deer scattered in all directions but nothing went 50 yards. I kept trying to get my rope cocker out to reload, but I was surrounded by eyeballs. I eventually got loaded but most everything had slipped away. Almost 15 minutes after the shot, I heard stumbling, crashing and kicking less than 50 yards to my front. I waited another 30 minutes before getting down.
The Micro hit pretty much where I was aiming from my 24' perch. NOTE: That's the exit wound.

This entrance hole is from a Rocket Sidewinder 1.5" 3-blade mechanical. The exit was lower and about 4 ribs back of the entrance.

Based on the damage inflicted by this head and the shot placement, I was surprised this deer didn't go down for more than ten minutes. It goes to show you how strong some of them are. It also confirms why you should wait a while before trailing them even if you know it is a great hit.
