We were on a twitch tail , he called and the moose came out about 150 yards from us, came in on a string, but the truck was behind us about 50 yards in the opening. He came in not making a grunt or anything. He was about 50 yards away when I shot straight on in the chest. Then he turned and I shot him in the front shoulder. He went down
the guide had a hand crank and cable to pull him in.
