Watchin 7 Tick Toters

Fer the past several min's i have been watchin 7 Doe's n fawns out my back bedroom window. They had been down at the feeder 40 yds east of me. Then they jus dritfted up here maybe 20 yds from my window. Jus think i have antler less tags unused, i could have shot one of the big Doe's, but that would have spoiled my peaceful n quiet watchin. I chose to watch n smile it meant more to me than a kill this mornin

I Have 4 bucks had 5 ,1 was hit with car and 2 mother doe and 5 fawns in my yard but no fun in that hunting them ..Leaving old doe live makes lots of fawns I get 3 fawns per old doe vrs none for young doe...

I did not get Buck this season left 2 six points go ,1 was small rack and deer and other I was in middle of drive with kids no way I am shooting Buck off those kids so I left it go...Only saw 4 doe in woods for 10 weeks of deer hunting here in nc pa ...

Sometimes watchen is better than shootin, makes fer a peaceful time.

Same here, had a doe and her 2 fawns just off the yard looking at me a few weeks ago. Had a doe tag, archery and inline ML was open and I could have shot with a rifle because I'm old! They are used to seeing me and are the neighbor deer, they were safe!
I would rather see more doe around to make more buck, seems like the state of Pa. doesn't agree with that though, If I want to hunt doe I normally go to areas where I don't hunt buck.

I don't have a doe tag this year so I have just been watching does all season LOL Not sure if its the ozonics unit or the fact I don't have a doe tag but I have never seen so many does under me and in range in years !

Yup had the same problem in Montana no mule deer tag and this was the first day LOL

The trick to retirement is to do it while you are still young enough to enjoy it.
I walked out at age 57 and have not regretted doing so at all. Turning 68 next Monday and still loving my retirement.

Sproulman------We had fellows up at camp back in the early muzz/rifle for Jr. & Sr. hunters, and they ended it with the Jr.s shooting two doe's on Sat., but the Jr.'s were using crossbows on Fri. but the deer would not come closer that about 60-70 yds. , so the Dad's gave them the green light on Sat. to use the guns. They saw over 30 deer those days.
