Micro Limb Deflection

Post by Rambeaux »

Long story but, I finally received my replacement limbs for my Micro 355. The originals both were 67's. New ones are 67 and 71. Is that copacetic? I thought they had to match.

Shoot them. I think you'll be fine.

As posted, you can try them. I would be calling CS pronto to get their take on this. I’d be unsettled by your experience because last I checked, (disclaimer...it’s been a while since I’ve owned a Micro and even longer since I’ve had limb issues), they are supposed to be within 0.5 of each other. The number itself is somewhat arbitrary but they shouldn’t be different by a value of 4.0. You could see tiller differences which won’t be critical unless you shoot fixed blades at extended ranges.

I do shoot fixed blades and the thing was a tack driver before. I just want the same bow I had before, without suspicions constantly creeping in my mind, my OCD. I'm gonna send them back after the holidays. I've been without a bow for 3 weeks now from this series of mishaps. :x

I would send them back. No reason for such a large deflection gap.. :)
