Double Tapp Inserts???

I have been trying to call Tapp Nation Archery for 3 days and can get nothing but a busy signal. I am going to be ordering some Spynal Tapps and would like to have more info on the Double Tapp Insert. Does anyone out there have any knowledge about them? I now shoot Black Eagle Zombies with 110 Gr. Brass inserts. Considering the Double Tapp insert or staying with the 110 Brass. Thanks Guys, Dave

I remember seeing info from Jerry over at Archery talk before Christmas. Take a look there for more info.

They are a two piece 4” inserts weighing 94gn or 112gn that will ONLY be shipped already inserted & glued into each Spynal Tapp arrow ordered! Are you sure you are dialing the correct number? I just talked to Jerry yesterday. Hope this helped and good luck!

For those that were like me and knew nothing about the Double Tapp insert, They are a 4" long insert that will come glued into the shafts that you purchase. Jerry guarantees they will never come out and will replace the arrow if they do. First time that I have talked to Jerry: Very impressed. Thanks , Dave

Makes sense that the longer insert length more than doubles the bonding area. Let us know what you think of them after shooting some.

Don't get me wrong, but that claim without knowing how well someone can shoot is a hard claim indeed. You get one of those shaky heavy breathing nervous types behind the trigger, look out!

I believe Jerry's point is that the arrows are capable of the accuracy IF the indian shooting them is. All my bows and the arrows shoot better than I do.

You are correct Robert, he was not saying they will make your bow into a rifle, just that the arrows were capable if the shooter was, Dave

Yep, potential is there. Pair those up with that Sub 1, and look out!
I am just messing around. Jerry makes some great arrows, and has worked with his suppliers to develop some neat stuff. These inserts are only available through SSAS from what I have found, let us know how you like them.

I have never lost any of Jerry’s old style inserts and my arrows were assembled by myself. With my Matrix 410 and from a rest I can shoot a 1” group @ 100y. If photobucket wasn’t dead I’d prove it, but it’s certainly possible.
