Many in this forum have followed my string issue with my Assassin With great interest and I posted their findings in my original post and will not delve into that here. What I do want to say is what they did for me. First they replaced my original string, then said that Excalibur will be sending me an additional string (orange) which I RUINED. They also polished my latches and much to my surprise, they topped it all off by changing my cocking rope which I didn’t think looked bad at all. Finally anyone sending their crossbow to the warranty depot in Port. Huron Michigan for repair need not tah worry, The work was well done, they got it on a Thursday and I have it in my hands the following Tuesday, Now how can yah complain about that turn-around time Finally a huge shout out to Peter of Excalibur for walking this through from the time I shipped it, keeping me posted on their findings and communicating the entire time. VERY SATISFIED
Used them twice for petty stuff, and they treated it like a big deal both times, hard to find service like that anywhere else! Glad you're a happy Excalibur owner.
It’s not the way you rock, it’s the way that you roll!
Excalibur's customer service is second to none period. I have used it a couple times a few years ago and it was awesome. Peter is a class act as are the people at Woodys and of course Don.
I am curious regarding the repair facility in Port Huron, Michigan. I live in Michigan only about 45 minutes south west of Port Huron. Where can I obtain the address or phone number for that facility? I don't currently need warranty work and probably won't need it but would like to check it out when I am in the area.
Thanks.
Thanks for all the kind words. We opened our new warranty center in Port Huron last fall and it has worked out very well for us. Our tech Conrad is very good and is doing a great job looking after warranty repair in the area. We're not publicizing the address yet since we are not setup for walk-in traffic or phone calls as Conrad works alone most of the time.
If you're in the area and have a warranty concern please contact me and I will get you setup with an RMA and the address. Once we get more established with our new warranty center we will post the address. We don't do any retail sales out of that facility only warranty repair, there are lots of great retailers in that area.
This is just another step to help us offer the best warranty service to our customers we can. We love to sell our products to happy customers but we think its even more important to provide quick and painless service if something goes wrong.
Just curious was your string issue an isolated incident or is this a common occurrence in the new assasin. Has this been addressed going forward i was planning on using this bow for all my deer hunting purposes going forward so im interested in this i was planning on purchasing very soon
